EVE Power Hungary Kft. has signed a letter of intent with the Bay Zoltán Research Center, a member institution of HUN-REN (Hungarian Research Network), within the framework of the China-Hungary Innovation Day; the company building a battery factory in Debrecen announced.
The aim of the cooperation is for the two organizations to work together on research and development projects that promote the development of sustainable and environmentally friendly industrial solutions in Hungary.
As the Hungarian company reports, their parent company, EVE Energy Co., Ltd., is a pioneer in advanced energy storage and technology solutions worldwide, with more than 6,000 researchers and more than a thousand active patents. The company’s operations are centered on research and development and sustainable innovation, which we intend to strengthen in Hungary through the Debrecen investment, in close cooperation with domestic universities and research institutes.
Sustainability, technological development, and scientific partnership are of paramount importance to EVE Power Hungary. Although the Debrecen plant is still under construction, our company is already building close ties with the Hungarian research and innovation sector to operate at the highest environmental and technological standards in the future.

The Bay Zoltán Research Center has been a key player in domestic applied research for more than three decades, building a bridge between scientific results and industrial application. The Research Center aims to turn research and development into a real economic and social value, and one of the important pillars of this is cooperation with international industrial partners.
The agreement with EVE Power Hungary is another milestone on this path: it creates the basis for joint developments that will bring tangible, industrially applicable results in the field of sustainability and the circular economy, the announcement states.
Through this cooperation, the experts of the Bay Zoltán Research Center will continue to play an active role in ensuring that the most advanced energy storage and green technology solutions are implemented in Hungary, contributing to the development of a more sustainable, innovative economy.
