The 100‑Member Gypsy Orchestra will celebrate its 40th Jubilee Christmas Grand Concert on December 20, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. in the Főnix Arena, Debrecen.

Founded in Budapest, the 100‑Member Gypsy Orchestra is recognized internationally for its unique sound, blending Hungarian folk traditions with classical and popular music. The ensemble features violins, violas, cellos, double basses, clarinets, cimbaloms, and other traditional instruments, creating a rich and powerful symphonic experience. Over the decades, the orchestra has toured worldwide, representing Hungarian musical heritage on the grandest stages.

At this special jubilee Christmas concert, the orchestra’s virtuoso primás (lead violinists) and musicians will dazzle the audience with classical masterpieces, Hungarian and gypsy melodies, and fiery reinterpretations.

Guest artist Horváth Tamás will add his unique style and energy, making the evening even more unforgettable. This fusion marks a national premiere, presented at the Főnix Arena in Debrecen.

This special 40th anniversary performance will highlight the orchestra’s legacy and festive spirit. Audiences can expect traditional Hungarian melodies, classical masterpieces,  all performed with the orchestra’s signature passion and energy.
