Launched by the Association of Countryside Hospitality Service Providers, Countryside Tasting Tours aim to showcase rural gastronomy, local producers, and hospitality service providers across Hungary.
Countryside Tasting Tours are more than a programme: they are an experience, an encounter, and a bite-sized piece of Hungary. The 2026 tour series will involve more than 25 locations and over 30 local producers and guest table service providers, offering more than 60 programmes throughout 2026.
Participants will be welcomed by small-scale producers at their own farms, homes, or properties. The programme offers a combination of culinary experiences, insight into everyday rural life, and games.
The organisers have designated three key dates, aligned with school holidays and typical family travel periods:
• 10–11 April 2026 – spring session
• 19–21 June 2026 – summer session
• 23–25 October 2026 – autumn session
At the same time, the programmes are available throughout the year with prior booking at participating service providers. Details, locations, programmes, menus, and registration contacts are already available on the organiser’s website.
