The Debrecen Hajdú Dance Ensemble warmly invites everyone to join their festive program, “Holy Spirit, Holy Spirit, enter my heart…!” on December 14. Come and celebrate the beauty of Hungarian folk traditions, where generations dance together and the spirit of community shines. 

The Debrecen Hajdú Dance Ensemble has been dedicated to preserving and enriching Hungarian folk art with passion and professionalism since 1953. Over the decades, their work has been recognized with prestigious honors, including the European Award for Folk Art, the Csokonai Vitéz Mihály Community Award, the Pro Urbe Award of Debrecen, and the Hungarian Heritage Award.

Generation after generation, the ensemble has consistently achieved the highest recognition in the national dance qualification system, earning the Gold I. title and the distinction of “Excellently Qualified Ensemble.”

This festive program brings together the entire community of 350 members – from the youngest kindergarten dancers to seasoned performers – to share the beauty and strength of tradition on one stage.
