On August 17, 2025, the streets of Debrecen will once again shimmer with energy, colour, and community spirit as NightRide 2025 rolls in — brighter, louder, and more spectacular than ever.

NightRide is not just a bike ride. It’s a celebration of togetherness, sustainability, and creativity. Thousands of cyclists — families, friends, coworkers — will parade through the city on glowingly decorated bicycles, accompanied by music, cheers, and carnival vibes.

 Starting from the Reformed Great Chuch (Kossuth Square), the ride winds through iconic streets of the city, transforming Debrecen into a glowing river of motion.

NightRide is a reminder that joy, light, and unity can fill even the darkest corners. Join and be part of something magical, whether you’re pedalling or cheering from the sidelines.

• – Meeting place: Debrecen, Kossuth Square, in front of the Great Church (access from Hatvan Street);
• – Departure place and time:: In front of the Great Church at 8:00 p.m.; 
• – Route:Kossuth Square – Kálvin Square – Péterfia Street – Simonyi Street – Pallagi Street – Pope John Paul II Square (next to the Mist Theater)
• – Gathering from 7:30 p.m.

• – 7:50 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. lineup of cyclists
• – 8:00 p.m. Parade
• – from 8:15  p.m. arrival at Pope John Paul II Square
• – 8:30 p.m. – 8:45 p.m.  performance of Sport Club “Ritmika” (Bulgaria)

Participation conditions:

• – Secure your spot by registering online by 12:00 p.m. on August 15, please register at this link;
• – Ensure your bicycle is ready for the journey ahead;
• – Illuminate your bike with decorative lighting in addition to functioning mandatory lights;
• – For children under 16, protective equipment and parental supervision are essential;
• – Embrace the spirit of the occasion by familiarising yourself with the event rules, which can be found on the following website;
