Agora Science Centre DebrecenThis is your chance to experience the cosmos up close. Join Agora for an exclusive evening of stargazing that goes far beyond the ordinary.
Those interested can walk along the Agora Bridge and “tour” the Solar System, and then, after a short introductory lecture, weather permitting, they can explore the wonders of the night sky through several telescopes, led by an astronomer.
During the evening, visitors can learn about the operation and use of amateur telescopes, but they can also learn various professional tricks. Through the telescopes, they can admire binary stars whose members orbit each other, as well as two types of star clusters: open and globular clusters, and even brighter galaxies.
The programme is recommended from the age of 10.
Tickets for the two-hour programme, which requires registration, are available in limited numbers, priced at HUF 4,500 in advance.
