The piece was created for the Royal Ballet a decade ago in which Carlos Acosta's blood-filled choreography conjures us up the sunny, charming Spain, hand in hand with the characteristic Spanish design by visual designer, Tim Hatley. In this 19th-century ballet full of witty and brilliant choreographic solutions, which was dreamed up to the dynamic score of Ludwig Minkus, the impressive virtuosity of the leading private dancers of the Royal Ballet can be seen.
