Day of Hungarian Culture in Csokonai Theatre

In the evening, they pay tribute to Ferenc Kölcsey, the poet of the National Anthem, with three performances on the 22nd of January. The PR-Evolution Debrecen Contemporary Dance Ensemble celebrates its 20th anniversary with this piece, inspired by Sándor Weöres' work of the same name that raises an eternally actual question revealing the existential restlessness of the speck of dust thrown into the world. The choreography and exciting design language of the performance directed by Zsófia Nemes conveys to us the moment when we arrive at ourselves. From 7 p.m., the Csokonai Theater hosts the Hungarian National Dance Ensemble's performance entitled Echo of the Carpathians.
