High school graduates can go to Aquaticum Debrecen Strand for free later than planned

The date of the Graduates’ Day event at Aquaticum Debrecen Strand has been changed due to the forecasted bad weather. The event, originally scheduled for Thursday, July 10, 2025, will take place on Tuesday, July 15, 2025.

“Graduates’ Day” is a traditional initiative organised by the Debrecen local government since 2020, aiming to allow graduating secondary school students to visit Aquaticum Debrecen Strand for free after completing their studies.

On this special day, students can not only swim for free but also participate in various programmes to celebrate the end of their secondary school years with a pleasant community experience. They can take possession of the facility from 9:00 a.m. and then participate in several programmes throughout the day.

A championship will be held on the beach volleyball court for the participating teams between 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. A selfie ring 360 spinner will be available for those who want to take photos from 4:00 p.m. onwards, and an extreme jumping competition will also start at 4:00 p.m. There will be a balloon-raffle game from 6:00 p.m., water pong from 7:00 p.m., and a foam party and neon party from 8:00 p.m. Well-known DJs (DJ Németi and DJ Szecsei) will provide a good atmosphere throughout the day.
Students will be able to enter the strand area at the “B” ticket office on the Nagyerdei körút side (closer to the roundabout).
