German-Hungarian Business Forum, featuring top executives from BMW, Mercedes, and Audi in a panel discussion
The discussion will be moderated by Gábor Várkonyi, automotive market expert.
The German-Hungarian Business Forum will be held on November 5th at the Kölcsey Center by the German-Hungarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce and the city of Debrecen.
The highlight of the event will be the podium discussion, which will be attended by Hans-Peter Kemser, President and CEO of BMW Group Plant Debrecen; Jens Bühler, Director of the Mercedes-Benz Kecskemét Plant; and Michael Breme, CEO of Audi Hungária Zrt.
The roundtable discussion organized with the leaders of the three German premium brands, Audi, BMW, and Mercedes-Benz factories in Győr, Debrecen, and Kecskemét, will be moderated by one of the country’s best-known automotive market experts, Gábor Várkonyi.
“I am honored to be able to lead the discussion, which will be held in German. Apart from Germany, only Hungary has all three manufacturers with production units.
Audi has made an outstanding contribution to the performance of the Hungarian economy over the past three decades, Mercedes will soon move a third of its entire European production to Kecskemét, and BMW recently opened one of the world’s most modern factories in Debrecen,” Gábor Várkonyi recommends the discussion.
According to the expert, the company leaders will use their outstanding professional experience to shed light on the general situation of the automotive industry, the technical content of the new models, and the advantages of Hungarian production.

A similar podium discussion was held in May at the National Investment Agency’s Automotive Industry Conference.
