The AI Subcluster of the Automotive Cluster Debrecen has been formed, as announced in a Monday post by EVE Power Hungary. As stated, “the initiative aims to connect experts, companies, and innovation stakeholders in the region, while promoting the practical application of artificial intelligence in the automotive industry and beyond.” The meeting was attended by Government Commissioner for Artificial Intelligence László Palkovics, Hans-Peter Kemser, President and CEO of BMW Group Plant Debrecen, Zsolt Tirpák, Chancellor of the Debrecen Vocational Training Centre (DSZC), Zoltán Kocsis, Managing Director of Krones Hungary, and Gábor Laczkó, Plant Director of Bürkle Debrecen.

The Automotive Cluster Debrecen was established in December 2024 with the participation of Debrecen-based stakeholders involved in the automotive sector, with ten founding members. The initiative aims to serve as a strategic platform that brings together the strengths of industry, research and education, thereby promoting cooperation and innovation.
