Krones Charity Run
Last year saw the third edition of Krones Hungary’s iconic running race, where charity was the main focus, and the company doubled the total proceeds from the entries and donated them to the Together, Holding Ádin’s HandsFoundation.
In the spirit of coming together for Ádin, they managed to mobilize 723 runners, and together they raised more than HUF3.3 million to support the little boy’s recovery.
Since then, Ádin successfully received life-saving gene therapy, to which Krones also contributed greatly with the help of the participants.
Who should we run to help this year?
Krones would like to, as a tradition, move for a good cause again this year at the Krones Charity Run to be held on the 10th of May.
They would like to select the sponsoring organisation for the 2025 Krones Charity Run together with the running community, without whom this unprecedented collaboration would not be possible. On the Krones Facebook page, you can vote for which of the following 3 organisations you would like to support.
Hajráanyu Non-Profit Association
The HajráAnyu (“Go, Mom”) Association has been actively working since 2019 to provide tangible and effective help to families, mothers and their children living in Hajdúszoboszló and the surrounding settlements in Hajdú-Bihar County. Among other things, they contribute to relieving the burden on parents by organising skill-building and educational programmes, creating opportunities for children to have fun, and providing childcare, in which you can also play a role with your vote.
Five-year-old Beni suffers from an extremely rare genetic disease, Duchenne muscular dystrophy, as a result of which he may be in a wheelchair by the age of six, and within a few years his heart and respiratory muscles may also deteriorate. His only chance is a gene therapy worth HUF 1.3 billion, currently only available abroad, which he can get one step closer to with your support.
Foundation for Children with Leukemia
The Foundation for Children with Leukemia in Debrecen has been actively contributing to increasing the chances of recovery and improving the quality of life of children with leukemia and cancer for 35 years.
The Foundation supports the development of modern diagnostic and treatment procedures, helps affected families alleviate the financial burden caused by the disease, ensures the preservation of children’s mental health by improving treatment conditions, and promotes the social reintegration of those affected by organizing programs after recovery.
Thanks to these measures, the recovery rate for some types of diseases exceeds 90%. You can also contribute to increasing the rate with your vote!
