Liget Square Kicks off Summer Season with Free Family Event
Everyone is invited to Liget Square for a cheerful and entertaining afternoon to start the summer season on 6 June. Organisers have a rich programme in store for the free-to-attend event from 3.00 p.m. until 5.30 p.m.
Those who enjoy being active can test their skills in agility games, outdoor relay races and fun sporting challenges in the park. Visitors can also enjoy an exciting and spectacular bicycle stunt show, as well as an introduction to Pound fitness training. Visitors will also be able to watch a dance performance by the young athletes of Diamond Fitness SE and enjoy the fairy-tale concert entitled Journey Through the Realm of Stories. Snow White, Winnie-the-Pooh, and King Julien will take to the stage as giant puppets in a performance by the Pesti Theatre.
Throughout the afternoon, children can enjoy an escape bus, cube puzzles, colouring activities, crossword puzzles, face painting, glitter tattoos, a vintage car display, a bouncy castle, a traditional fairground, a candy cannon and a cactus planting experience.
The event’s clear aim is to provide local residents and Debrecen families with an informal opportunity to meet, chat and spend the first afternoon of the weekend together in a pleasant and welcoming environment.
