Local Tax Payment Obligations – Second Half of 2026

The Tax Department of the Mayor’s Office of Debrecen has begun mailing balance notifications to help taxpayers meet their local tax payment obligations for the second half of 2026.

Private individuals who had not opted for electronic communication by the date of issue of their balance notification will receive it by post. Private individuals registered for electronic communication and sole traders will receive the notification via Ügyfélkapu, while companies will receive it via Cégkapu.

Payment obligations for the second half of the year can be settled without late-payment interest until 15 September 2026.

A payment slip has been enclosed only with notifications delivered by post. Please note that everyone also has the option of settling their tax liability via a transaction classified as a bank card purchase through the E-Önkormányzat Portal, using the EFER system.
