Mark Your Calendar for Next Year’s Made in Debrecen

Péter Miklós Balogh, Director of Rocksuli, is among those who worked for weeks for the success of Made In Debrecen. As an organiser, he could not spend too much time in one place; he was constantly moving between the festival venues, checking that everything was running properly.

“It was a very enjoyable yet demanding period. Even though this was already the fifth one, it still cannot be organised by routine, because every festival is different and brings new challenges. But I have to say, it went excellently, from 10 a.m. on Saturday the event flowed beautifully, and the concerts at the venues followed the pre-arranged schedule,” he said

While visiting the venues, he met and spoke with many people, and in general the feedback was that the audience really enjoyed the event. When asked whether he had seen a full concert, he revealed that he managed to watch the performances of pianist István Vajda and the Immanuel Choir. “Both were brilliant in their own way,” he added.

He also revealed that, together with his fellow organisers, they have already set the date for the next Made In Debrecen festival: the next edition is held on 20 March 2027.

“I am grateful to everyone who took part in the festival; the work of many volunteers and helpers contributed to the event’s success,” stated Péter Miklós Balogh.
