New Dog Park Opens at Árpád Square for World Animal Day
To celebrate World Animal Day on 4 October, another dog park has opened for local dog owners and their four-legged companions in Debrecen, near Árpád Square. This is now the ninth enclosed facility where dogs can run and play freely without disturbing pedestrians or interfering with traffic. “We consider these developments important because they give dog owners a great opportunity to get out of the house and let their dogs have a good run off the lead,” said Deputy Mayor Diána Széles.
Under the law, dogs must be walked on a lead in public spaces, which is why visiting a dog park is particularly useful, as it gives dogs the opportunity to run and play freely.
