New tender to be launched in the Tócóvölgy housing programme

Debrecen Vagyonkezelő (Debreceni Asset Management) announced in a press release that seven companies had registered for the tender. The deadline for the receipt of applications and declarations of interest was 6 July.

No valid tender documents were received by the deadline; therefore, Debreceni Vagyonkezelő Zrt. plans to launch a new sales tender in the near future.

The background to the case is that in May this year, the municipality announced that Debrecen was launching a large-scale housing construction programme. A development area consisting of seven plots in the valley has been set up, on which more than 1,100 apartments will be built, with an independent transport system.

It was said at the announcement that an important decision point in the programme is whether or not the municipality and the asset manager are able to implement such a programme from their own resources and investment. The answer is that, given the current financial and economic situation, it is not possible to do so, except with the involvement of entrepreneurial capital.

In order to achieve the desired goals, Debreceni Vagyonkezelő Zrt. has launched a public sales tender for the construction of the prepared residential complex in Tócóvölgy. In the framework of the preparation of the investment in Tócóvölgy, Debreceni Vagyonkezelő Zrt. (DV Zrt.) has developed a 10-hectare development area consisting of seven plots.
