Open day awaits interested parties at the Faculty of Engineering
The Faculty of Engineering of the University of Debrecen is hosting an MSc Open Day for those interested in the master’s program on October 7.
The event, which will start on Tuesday, October at 9:30 a.m. in the lecture hall U.001 of the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Debrecen, is open not only to the graduating BSc students of the faculty but also to all interested parties who have a specialized BSc degree and would like to continue their studies in the technical field.
Following the welcome speech by Dean Géza Husi, Deputy Dean for Education Judit T. Kiss will give an information session on the opportunities offered by the master’s program, and then former MSc students at the faculty will relive their experiences related to the program.
The program will also be joined by a representative of Emerson | NI, one of the industrial partners of the Faculty of Engineering in Debrecen, who will speak from an employer’s perspective about why an MSc degree is useful.
The Faculty of Engineering of the University of Debrecen currently offers eight bachelor’s and twelve master’s programs, with 2,568 BSc students and 520 MSc students. The master’s programs last four semesters, except for the structural engineering program, which can be completed in three semesters.
