Railway crossings to be closed across their entire width due to construction work

MÁV Track Maintenance Ltd. (MÁV Pályakarbantartási Zrt.) is carrying out reconstruction work on several railway crossings in the Debrecen area, during which the crossings will be closed across their entire width. The affected areas will be accessible via designated diversion routes.

The schedule of the reconstruction works is as follows:

Huszár Gál Street railway crossing: The works will take place from 8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 8, 2025, until 10:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 14, 2025.

Lőtér Street railway crossing: The closure will be in effect from 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, until 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 19, 2025.

Kastély Street railway crossing: The works will be carried out from 8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 8, 2025, to 6:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 9, 2025.

During construction, the entire bedding will be replaced at a depth of approximately 1.5 meters, 24-meter-long sections of track will be replaced, track alignment will be carried out, and asphalting work will also be performed. During this time, construction machinery will occupy the crossings, so they will need to be closed completely.

Access to the affected areas will be ensured via designated diversion routes marked with signs during the work.
