Registration for the University of Debrecen Alumni Festival is still open

The Faculty of Political Science and Law, the Faculty of Dentistry, and the mathematicians have also scheduled their annual reunion for this occasion, but everyone can find their own former institution and department on the Street of the Faculties.

The Main Building will host several nostalgic exhibitions reminiscent of the past, as well as a special exhibition of retired prosecutor Zoltán Márián’s unique collection of signatures from world-famous personalities—from kings to popes and heads of state.

On this day, for the fiftieth and final time, the two “ancient enemies,” the football team consisting of alumni of the Faculty of Humanities and the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Technology, will measure their strength—this time on the football field—on the sports field of the Böszörményi Road campus. 

During a walk, attendees can get acquainted with the history of the university and the hidden secrets of the Main Building; there will be a senior joy dance, and those who want a good conversation can relax in the conversation corner of the Díszudvar. The Senior University is preparing an unusual performance, and there will also be children’s programs.

The university cafeteria is also ready to welcome hungry guests so that they can enjoy unforgettable flavors together again, and for those who want something new, the university’s own food brand, UniFOOD, will offer delicious and healthy products at the festival.

In the afternoon, the stage in front of the Main Building will feature the legendary band of the university, the Android band, whose members have been inviting music lovers on a musical journey for 45 years.

The evening will traditionally end with a bonfire symbolizing togetherness, followed by a lively party by the students of the Institute of Popular Music of the University of Debrecen on University Square. Those who like classical music can attend a concert by the students and teachers of the Faculty of Music.

FM90 Campus Radio will be present at the event, giving guests the opportunity to report live on their memories and new experiences gained at the festival.
