Students explored trade and hospitality professions

The Debrecen Vocational Training Center (DSZC) has once again organized its popular “Try the Profession!” program at the Trade and Hospitality Technical School. The initiative is designed to support young people preparing to choose a career by giving them practical, hands‑on experiences.

Students had the chance to explore three different activities:mixing, gift wrapping, and creating digital graphics. Through these tasks, participants gained direct insight into the training courses offered at the school and the skills required in trade and hospitality professions.

At the event, Deputy Mayor Lajos Barcsa highlighted that the city and the Debrecen Vocational Training Center are working closely together to give young people a real vision of the future, since the future is in their hands.

The Director General of the DSZC, Sándor Szilágyi, drew attention to the fact that choosing a profession often only becomes real if it is tried out, and the event aims to provide this very opportunity.
