Temporary Water Shutoff Planned for a Debrecen Street Tomorrow

On Thursday, February 19, between 8:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m., Debrecen Waterworks will suspend water service on Gyepűsor Street, on the section between Kishegyesi Road and number 38, on both the even and odd-numbered sides. During the renovation works, no fire-extinguishing water will be available in the affected area; however, fire water supply will remain continuously ensured in other parts of the city.

Afterwards, temporary cloudiness of the drinking water may occur. The service provider emphasizes that this does not pose a health risk; however, allowing the water to settle is recommended. The cloudiness will disappear within a short time, and faster system clearing can be aided if residents briefly open their garden taps.

Residents are asked to report any irregularities in the water service after the maintenance work to customer service at Debrecen Waterworks.
