“For the second time, the Debrecen Business Service Centers (DBSC) Roundtable, which consists of seven member companies (4iG, British Telecommunications, DT-ITS, DIEHL Aviation, Flowserve Hungary, NI-Emerson, Transcosmos), will organise a training course for teachers of the Debrecen Tanker District Center between the 2nd and the 4th of April,” the Roundtable announced.

The aim of the programme is to familiarise educators with the workings of the business services sector and to provide insights into the key competences required by the sector and current labour market expectations. With the knowledge gained, teachers can better prepare their students for the world of work and support them in their career guidance.

The event will provide teachers with 15 hours of theoretical training and 15 hours of mentoring and individual coaching. The programme will cover useful and easily applicable topics that teachers can use effectively in their own work and pass on to their students.

One of the key missions of the Debrecen BSC Roundtable is to promote the broadest possible dissemination of the knowledge and skills required by the sector at different levels of education, in cooperation with the city’s secondary and higher education institutions.

In this way, a learning pathway can be mapped out that will enable students to succeed in the sector in the future.

As part of this initiative, a joint teacher training programme between the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Debrecen and the DBSC was launched in 2020, which has so far been successfully completed by more than 120 teachers and trainers.
