Thirty-year-old HSA Group helps employees and employers find each other in Debrecen
The challenges facing the HR sector were discussed at the anniversary conference of the leading personnel service provider HSA Group, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary. It turned out that 21 thousand new jobs have been created in Debrecen in recent years thanks to conscious economic policy. At the same time, the role of human resource management has become more valuable. Modern factories, technology companies, and service centers are primarily looking for highly qualified, motivated employees.
“There is full employment in Debrecen and its surroundings. While ten years ago the number of unemployed was around 12 thousand, it is currently three thousand. This is thanks to the large investments coming to the city, the long-term goal of which—as the city government has repeatedly stated—is for the people of Debrecen and the surrounding area to prosper locally. The backwardness that we have accumulated in Eastern Hungary in recent decades was set as a goal by our city government policy to eliminate. So we do not want to be an educational institution for Western Hungary or Budapest,” said Deputy Mayor Lajos Barcsa.
“21 thousand new jobs have been created in the city in recent years. Celebrating its 30th anniversary, HSA Group, the leading personnel service group in Eastern Hungary, is continuously contributing to ensuring that employees and employers find each other in the region. We learned and then declared that people are not a resource but a value. We not only advertise this but also live it every day. We learned that trust is the most important currency. Our business partners have been with us for years and even decades,” underlined László Mátyás, founder of HSA Group.
“The past ten years have been one of the most dynamic periods of development for Debrecen’s economy. This is thanks to the conscious economic policy, investment incentive programs, and business development strategy,” emphasized László Papp. The mayor stated that Debrecen has become one of the most important economic centers of our country, the engine of the eastern region. We are experiencing such development in the field of electromobility that it elevates our city to the forefront of Europe. Debrecen has become one of the centers of the industry of the future. Debrecen’s international recognition is continuously growing in parallel. The city is now known not only for its investments but is also considered a city of knowledge, innovation, and cooperation,” emphasized László Papp.
According to the mayor, this is indicated by the series of prestigious international awards, the growing business tourism, and the dynamic development of the service provider and SME sector.
