Two outer traffic lanes to be closed on Külsővásártér

The renovation carried out during the night of August 13–15, 2025, at the intersection of Külsővásártér, Széchenyi Street, and Nyugati Street in Debrecen was successfully completed.

To continue the refurbishment work, two outer lanes on Külsővásártér will be closed.

On August 18–19, 2025, the contractor will implement temporary traffic control measures in the newly completed inner lanes up to the binding layer. It will include traffic lights, road marking, and installation of temporary traffic signals at the Postakert Street and Arany János Street intersections.

Starting from 3:00 AM on Wednesday, August 20, vehicle traffic will be redirected to these inner lanes for the upcoming autumn period. This will free up space for construction work in the outer lanes, specifically along the sides of Postakert and Arany János Streets.

Drivers and pedestrians are kindly asked to proceed with caution and follow all posted signs and temporary traffic regulations.
