Underground garage at Hal köz reopens after flooding
On Sunday afternoon, a burst pipe at the corner of Hal köz and Simonffy Street flooded the underground garage at Hal köz, causing a temporary closure.
The faulty pipeline led to a water outage in the area for several hours. Repairs are expected to take about three weeks, during which traffic regulations will be adjusted.
The burst pipe clogged the drainage system, which had to be cleared. On Monday, water utility experts cleaned the drainage ditch, allowing the garage to be reopened.
Although the underground garage at Hal köz was fully flooded due to a pipe burst, no vehicles were damaged. Water remained in the four-level parking structure even on Monday, prompting a temporary closure.
By Tuesday afternoon, the issue was resolved, and drivers can now use the underground garage again.
