Wizz Air Is Flying Again from Debrecen to Larnaca
After the winter break, Wizz Air has resumed its flight from Debrecen to Larnaca, Cyprus.
The airline now operates two flights per week. According to the schedule, the last flight will depart on 24 October, after which the route will again pause for the winter season.
Wizz Air first launched flights from Debrecen to Cyprus in 2018, initially as a seasonal service operating from spring to autumn. It later became a year‑round route, but from 2025 it will once again be available only during the spring–autumn period.
In addition to Larnaca, travellers can currently fly with Wizz Air to London and with Lufthansa to Munich — and the range of destinations will expand significantly in the coming weeks and months.
A new development is that from 5 April, Wizz Air will increase its Debrecen–London service from three to four weekly flights.
From 2 May, flights to Eindhoven will also resume, operating twice a week — on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
On 1 July, Wizz Air will restart its Debrecen–Istanbul route. Flights between Debrecen and Turkey’s largest city will operate twice weekly, on Wednesdays and Sundays.
This summer, travellers will also be able to fly to Varna, Bulgaria’s most popular seaside destination. The route will operate three times a week — on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays — starting 16 June.
The potential restart of the Debrecen–Tel Aviv flight has been postponed until autumn due to the war in Iran.
