World‑renowned pianist to perform a special concert in Debrecen
Today, the name Péter Buka is familiar not only to lovers of classical music. The 27-year-old pianist and composer has been engaged in music since the age of seven, but he soon complemented his classical foundations with inspirations drawn from the world of pop and film music.
His career gained major momentum in 2017, when his piano arrangements shared online reached more than 400 million views worldwide, and his talent was acknowledged by international stars such as Alan Walker.
At 7:00 p.m. on January 17, the Debrecen audience will get to experience a unique musical world in which classical piano sound meets modern melodies.
At the concert held at the Kölcsey Centre, both Péter Buka’s own compositions and well-known arrangements will be performed.
The special appeal of the evening lies in the fact that it speaks both to those interested in classical music and to those seeking a more contemporary, popular sound—all within the framework of an intimate yet grand concert experience.
