On January 4, a special experience awaits the Debrecen audience, as one of the world’s best-known and most beloved ballets comes to life on the stage of the Főnix Arena.

The Nutcracker, one of the most iconic ballets associated with the holiday season for generations, will be presented in a way that promises both spectacular stage visuals and a memorable musical experience.

This festive evening will combine the tradition of classical ballet, Tchaikovsky’s immortal music, and spectacular stage design. The authentic performance will be brought to Debrecen by the artists of the St. Petersburg Ballet Company and the Bolshoi Theatre, building on world-class dance technique and more than 130 years of ballet tradition.

What makes this evening special is that the production will be accompanied live by the Kodály Philharmonic Orchestra, with all concerts on the tour conducted by Dániel Somogyi-Tóth. The audience will therefore be able to enjoy not only a spectacular visual experience but also an exceptional musical experience.
