The approach of spring is already perceptible in everyday life: longer days and milder weather make us even more inclined towards shared family activities. In March, the city of Debrecen is once again preparing a wide range of events and leisure opportunities to help you make the most of the season.

Take a dip, get moving and get creative at Aquaticum: water games, flower-making workshops, aquafitness and cheerful Zumba await children and their families, while the youngest visitors are entertained by Pöttöm Pancsi’s musical, playful sessions.

Friday 27 March: The Jungle Book at Csokonai Theatre
In the production directed by Norbert Nagy, each character fights for their own truth and sense of justice. Yet in this Debrecen adaptation, using the wonderful compositions of the composer duo László Dés and Péter Geszti, the tale once again proves that neither violence nor an unconditional desire to win can resolve tensions—only tenderness and genuine emotion can do so.
