Maintenance Works at the Külsővásártér – Arany János Street Junction

At the Külsővásártér – Arany János Street junction in Debrecen, the traffic lights will not be in operation on 21 March 2026 (Saturday) between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. due to modifications to the traffic‑control equipment.

According to the contractor, as part of the renovation of the Külsővásártér – Postakert Street – Arany János Street junction, structural modification works will be carried out on the traffic‑light support structures located at the Külsővásártér – Arany János Street junction. During the maintenance work, the device responsible for traffic‑light control will be relocated, which requires a complete power shutdown at the junction.

Drivers are kindly requested to proceed with increased caution during the works, in accordance with the Highway Code (KRESZ), paying close attention to the posted signs and road markings, and giving particular consideration to pedestrians and cyclists.
