Strategic Partnership for Future of Pharmaceutical Industry Established in Debrecen

The aim of the partnership between the University of Debrecen and the Association of Hungarian Pharmaceutical Manufacturers is to strengthen the sector’s competitiveness in the long term and to enhance research and development capacities. A key priority is the support of natural science disciplines, including pharmacy, chemistry, biotechnology, and life sciences programmes.

These fields provide the members of Hungary’s research and development community, and without appropriate education there will be no supply of qualified professionals for the sector. The University of Debrecen is one of Hungary’s leading centres of knowledge. With its programmes in pharmacy, medicine, and natural sciences, as well as its research capacities, the institution contributes to the training of professionals and the innovation directions of the pharmaceutical industry, as stated at the event.
