More and More Partners Join Debrecen City Card Programme

In recent weeks, the Debrecen City Card Programme has welcomed new partners, according to a newsletter.

Debrecen Sports Centre has joined as an acceptance partner at two locations. For city card holders, a 10 per cent discount is offered on the price of a 30-visit pass at the Debrecen Swimming Pool, as well as on a 20-visit pass at the Debrecen Ice Hall.

Rush4time escape room offers a 15 per cent discount upon presentation of the city card. At Papírvilág shop, a 10 per cent discount is available on all full-price products. The Bethlen Street Pharmacy offers a 7 per cent discount on non-prescription products.

The range of partner locations is highly diverse: from thermal baths through various shops to restaurants, many service providers have already joined the programme launched in spring 2020. With the card, visitors can receive discounted entry to theatres, the zoo, museums and restaurants, and can also pay less for services such as hairdressing or gym access when choosing from the extensive list of partners.

Further information about the card and the full list of acceptance points is available here.

Card issuance points and opening hours are as follows:

From 1 May 2026, not only children aged 6–14 attending public education institutions in Debrecen, but all children aged 6–14 attending any public education institution within Hajdú-Bihar County will be eligible to apply for the Junior City Card.
