Bus Services to Be Diverted Due to Hungary National Team Match

A friendly football match between Hungary and Kazakhstan will take place at the Great Forest Stadium on 9 June, with kick-off scheduled for 7 p.m. To ensure the smooth running of the event, the section of Nagyerdei Boulevard between Pallagi Road and Endre Ady Road will be closed from 1 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. During the closure, bus routes 16, 22, 22Y, 24 and 24Y will operate on diversion routes.

Route 16

Towards the Pharmaceutical Factory:

After the Baksay Sándor Street stop, Route 16 will continue straight towards the University and then follow the diversion route via Nagyerdei Boulevard and Pallagi Road.

Towards the Main Railway Station:

After the Social Care Home stop, Route 16 will turn right towards the Clinics and then follow the diversion route via Nagyerdei Boulevard and Hadházi Road. After the Hadházi Road 92 stop, the service will return to its normal route.

Route 22

After the Clinical Centre Great Forest Campus stop, Route 22 will turn around at the roundabout and continue via the diversion route along Nagyerdei Boulevard, Hadházi Road, Gyula Benczúr Street and Public Cemetery Main Gate. After the Public Cemetery Main Gate stop, the service will resume its normal route.

Route 22Y

After the Social Care Home stop, Route 22Y will operate via the diversion route along Nagyerdei Boulevard, Hadházi Road, Gyula Benczúr Street and Public Cemetery Main Gate. After the Public Cemetery Main Gate stop, the service will return to its normal route.

Route 24

After the Public Cemetery Main Gate stop, Route 24 will operate via Gyula Benczúr Street, Hadházi Road, Nagyerdei Boulevard (towards the University), the Pallagi Road roundabout and Nagyerdei Boulevard. After the Clinical Centre Great Forest Campus stop, the service will continue on its normal route.

Route 24Y

After the Public Cemetery Main Gate stop, Route 24Y will operate via Gyula Benczúr Street, Hadházi Road, Nagyerdei Boulevard (towards the University) and Pallagi Road. After the Social Care Home stop, the service will return to its normal route.

No regular stops on the affected routes will be omitted. However, buses will not stop at any stops located along the diversion routes.
