OPUS TITÁSZ to replace street lighting columns on Klaipeda Street

On 18 June, OPUSZ TITÁSZ Zrt. will carry out maintenance work in Debrecen on the odd-numbered side of Klaipeda Street, between Kossuth Street and Szent Anna Street. As part of the works, concrete street lighting columns will be replaced due to their unsatisfactory technical condition.

The works will take place on 18 June between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. and will involve traffic diversions on the affected section of road. In accordance with the temporary traffic management plan in force during the works, the company will provide all necessary traffic signage. To prevent accidents, the bus stop named “Klaipeda utca” on Klaipeda Street will be closed on 18 June between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

Asphalt removal and excavation works required around the bases of the existing support structures will commence on 17 June, carried out by the company’s contractor.

Motorists and users of the affected properties are asked to avoid using the entrances and exits of the affected parking areas during the works if possible.
