OPUS TITÁSZ to Carry Out Capacity Upgrade Works in Two Streets of Debrecen
As announced by OPUS TITÁSZ Zrt., capacity upgrade works will take place between 22 June and 10 July on the odd-numbered side of Kossuth Street, between the corner of Klaipeda and Kossuth Streets and 16 Kossuth Street. During the project, specialists will replace 690 metres of low-voltage cable as well as a medium-voltage/low-voltage (MV/LV) transformer substation.
During the works, temporary traffic restrictions can be expected on the affected section of road. Between 22 June and 9 July, protective ducts will be installed on the odd-numbered side of Kossuth Street using directional drilling technology. On 10 July, the two outer traffic lanes on the odd-numbered side of Klaipeda Street and Burgundia Street will be closed from the morning until late afternoon while the transformer substation is lifted into place.
The company’s staff will do everything possible to ensure that the works cause the least possible disruption to local residents and road users. However, consumers may experience temporary interruptions or inconvenience affecting the electricity supply during the project, for which OPUS TITÁSZ asks for their understanding.
