Held for the sixth time on 17 and 18 July, Debrecen Street Music Days will bring more than 50 free concerts to outdoor venues across the city. Performances will take place in Hal köz, at the corner of Csapó Street and Dósa Nádor Square, beside the Great Reformed Church’s glass pyramid, on Rózsa Street, at Gambrinusz Passage, the DEMKI Youth House, and along Medgyessy Promenade.

Among the performers appearing at the festival are the Agyagbanda Ensemble, Kelet Brass Band, Quest Brass Band, Olivér Bíró and Luca Balduccio. The charm of acoustic performances, the magic of live music and the diversity of styles, including pop, jazz, folk, blues, indie and many others, will turn the weekend into a genuine voyage of musical discovery.

The event has its own website where detailed performance schedules and venue information will soon be available. Visitors will also get to listen to samples of the artists’ music, making it easy to plan their route in advance or decide which performers they would most like to see live.
