Pavement and Road Sections Resurfaced on Ötmalom Street
Many residents had been concerned about the condition of the old pavement on Ötmalom Street, where several sections have now been repaired. People living in the area have expressed satisfaction with the results of the road improvement works on Ötmalom Street.
This year, the City of Debrecen is investing HUF 9.25 billion in transport infrastructure improvements. As part of this programme, the section of Ötmalom Street between Ezredes Monti Street and Kígyó Street has been refurbished. “As part of the project, the road’s asphalt surface was replaced. In addition to raising utility access points to the correct level, drainage improvements and the necessary pavement repairs were also completed,” said city councillor Sándor Nagy.
The city’s budget for this year includes almost HUF 2.5 billion for 32 large-scale road resurfacing projects, while a further more than HUF 2 billion has been allocated to 12 road construction schemes initiated by local residents.
