European Heritage Days in Debrecen – 2026
In 2003, UNESCO adopted the Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage, which Hungary joined in 2006. The international convention aims to preserve and pass on the practices, expressions, knowledge and skills that form part of communities’ cultural heritage.
Debrecen is once again joining the European Heritage Days event series in 2026, offering a varied range of events for visitors from 17 to 20 September.
