Pressure Fluctuations and Cloudy Tap Water Expected in Józsa District and Northwestern Economic Zone on Tuesday
According to the latest notice from Debreceni Vízmű Zrt., specialists will begin work on the water supply pipeline on Balmazújvárosi Road at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, 10 November in order to restore the network to its original configuration. The water supply to the industrial park in the Northwestern Economic Zone and to residents of Felsőjózsa may be affected.
The water utility has warned residents and businesses in the affected areas that fluctuations in water pressure are expected in the public drinking water network during the day on Tuesday. Once the work has been completed, tap water may also become temporarily cloudy or discoloured. The company stressed that drinking the water will not pose a health risk even if this occurs but, for peace of mind and convenience, it is advisable to let the water stand for a short while before drinking it.
The water utility asks residents of Józsa and people working in the industrial park to report any more serious problems with the water supply that they may experience after the work has been completed. Reports can be made to the dispatch centre around the clock by calling +36 (52) 513-536 or +36 (52) 534-510, or by emailing diszpecser@debreceni-vizmu.hu.
