Busy Bus Stop at Debrecen’s Main Railway Station to Close for Several Days
Due to road surface repairs in the area, the bus stop at the Main Railway Station towards Wesselényi Street will be closed to passengers from 9 to 13 November. Restrictions will affect trolleybuses and more than a dozen bus services, so passengers are advised to pay extra attention when planning their journeys rather than relying on their usual routines.
The restriction will come into effect at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, 9 November, and is expected to remain in place until the end of service on Friday, 13 November. As there is no room to establish a temporary bus stop along this section, the transport company will introduce the following changes while the works are under way:
- Trolleybuses: Trolleybuses 5 and 5A, travelling towards Köztemető, főkapu and Kassai Road respectively, will not serve the closed stop on the Wesselényi Street side at all during the specified period.
- Alighting arrangements: Passengers travelling to the Main Railway Station on buses 46, 46H, 46Y, 71, 71A, 71H, 72, 91A, 94 and 146, as well as on the Auchan shopping services, will be dropped off at the bus parking area at the Main Railway Station.
- Boarding arrangements: At the Main Railway Station, passengers travelling towards Bánk and Borzán Gáspár Street on buses 30, 30A and 30H, and towards the Southern Industrial Park on buses 60 and 61, will board at the boarding point normally used by bus 47.
