Traffic lights at the busiest intersections in Debrecen are continuously upgraded
In line with the Green Codex, the Municipality will continue to upgrade junctions with old-style traffic lights.
Until the middle of August, the traditional incandescent type traffic lights will be replaced with LED light sources at a total of 34 intersections throughout the city.
In total, the municipality will upgrade 658 traffic lights and 111 illuminated road signs with HUF 262 million of its own funds.
The modern LED lamps are an energy-saving and fail-safe solution, more visible during the day and at night, making traffic safer at intersections.
