Traffic restrictions expected on Határ Road in Debrecen – the final phase of road renovation begins

The renovation of the section of Határ Road between Kishegyesi Road and Varjútövis Street has reached its final phase.

The contractor will begin laying the asphalt wearing course on Monday, March 31, 2025. Depending on weather conditions, it is expected to take about two weeks.

Large asphalt paving machines will be operating on the affected road section during the work, which may cause significant congestion, lane closures, and lane shifts. Flaggers will direct traffic, and if necessary, police traffic control will be implemented.

Motorists are asked to avoid the affected road section during the work if possible. If this is impossible, please follow and adhere to the temporary traffic signs with increased attention.
