The Apollo Cinema’s interior will be beautified next week

In early May, a pipe burst in Debrecen’s popular cinema,  the Apollo was forced to take a break. As the institution writes on its Facebook page, they suspected that after the incident, the time would come again for them to take another break.

The lobby will be painted between Monday, 23 June 23 and Friday, 27 June, so the Apollo will not be accepting guests. 

However, there will be an exception, and the movie theater will still open on 26 June.

That’s when Charlie Chaplin’s film The Gold Rush will be screened to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the film’s release in cinemas. Tickets for this special one-time screening are still available online or in person at the Apollo box office until Sunday.

According to plans, the cinema will welcome viewers again on Saturday, 28 June with a full range of films and a beautified interior.
