Municipal Assistance for Storm-Related Green Waste Removal

Due to the damage caused by the recent storm, the Municipality of Debrecen is offering support to residents in removing green waste that has accumulated around their homes and gardens.

Between Monday and Friday next week (July 14–18), all green waste collected by residents will be removed without quantity restrictions, regardless of the type of bag used. This will be done during extended working hours, at each household’s usual green waste collection time, as agreed upon by the municipality and the contracted waste management company.

For large branches, twigs, and trees that cannot be placed in bags, the municipality will arrange for their removal from July 14 to July 25, with the assistance of contractors responsible for park maintenance.

Residents are kindly asked to place oversized green waste in an orderly manner in front of their property to ensure smooth collection.
