Eastern Hungary’s largest children’s festival welcomes families with unforgettable experiences at two locations, downtown Debrecen and the Amusement Park.

To celebrate the 90th anniversary of the birth of István Csukás, the author’s iconic fairy-tale characters come to life through interactive programs, craft workshops, puppet shows, concerts, sports events, and dance performances, offering meaningful entertainment for every generation.

Galiba Children’s Parade | 5:00-7:00 p.m. from the Memorial Garden

On August 19, the Little Galiba Children’s Carnival will once again take place: the children’s flower floats parade along Piac Street.

Parade Route: Memorial Garden → Great Reformed Church → Piac Street → Rózsa Street → Dósa Nádor Square

The parade can be viewed free of charge from the grandstands in Kossuth Square and Rózsa Street.

The miniature floral floats will remain on display after the parade:
