Programs in Debrecen this week

8 September, Monday

  • Debrecen Rock School kicks off the school year with a free festival

  • Fire and Light – Concert by the Kodály Philharmonic Orchestra

  • Treasure Chest

Creative craft workshop for adults at Borsos-villa from 10 a.m. Borsos-villa hosts a creative craft workshop for adults, focusing on heart-centered creation.   • Hungary – Austria Davis Cup World Final Qualifying Round II

  • Hot Paprika Comedy 

Hot Paprika Comedy and MODEM  are excited to bring English Stand-Up Comedy  back to Debrecen, showcasing an amazing night of comedy with some of the best comedians!

  • XV. Debrecen Folk Crafts

  • Retro Club with the  Happy And Band 

Happy And  is a band from Debrecen, their repertoire consists of the biggest hits of the past decades – from the 60s to the present day – so all ages can find familiar and lovable melodies in them.  The party starts at 8.00 p.m. at DEMKI Youth House. Don’t miss the chance to dance, sing, and celebrate with one of Debrecen’s favorite live acts!

13 September, Saturday

  • Korean Conversation Club 

Join a friendly and engaging Korean Conversation Club at the Méliusz Juhász Péter Library, starting at 10:00 a.m. This free event offers a great opportunity to practice Korean, explore Korean culture, and connect with fellow language enthusiasts in Debrecen.

  • Street Training

Visitors are invited to a free program under the trees of the Great Forest. Street Training in Debrecen offers free mini-trainings, covering topics like communication, goal-setting, relationship dynamics, self-awareness, and awareness. Registration is required, and additional programs and relaxation opportunities are available for children.   • AQUAKIDS DinoSplash!
