Open Day returns at the Debrecen Sports Diagnostics, Lifestyle and Therapy Center
The occasion for this Open Day is not accidental: at the beginning of the summer, visitors had an experience that they rarely get to experience. On June 14, crowds arrived at the Debrecen Sports Diagnostics, Lifestyle and Therapy Center/SET (Sport Diagnosztikai, Életmód és Terápiás Központ) to participate in interactive demonstrations, try out world-class diagnostic equipment, and listen to professional lectures.
SET not only presented what it offers but also let its guests experience it. Interested parties could try out world-class diagnostic and therapeutic equipment, while experts helped them navigate the modern toolbox of health preservation.
The InBody body composition measurement, lymphatic massage, Game Ready regeneration therapy, and the anti-gravity treadmill all provided an experience that many people had only seen in movies before.
The SET gym turned into a vibrant hub of activity as children and adults alike eagerly joined movement development, speed, and agility testing sessions. For one day, SET became a true family destination, offering something for everyone.
Young participants enjoyed playful stretching exercises, skill-building challenges, and fun movement sessions, while adults explored regenerative treatments and took part in functional movement analyses. Thanks to Nádudvari Élelmiszer, guests could recharge with tasty, health-conscious snacks—because a balanced lifestyle begins with what’s on your plate.
To wrap up the day, a prize draw added excitement, awarding one lucky winner a SET service package worth HUF 170,000. The package included a full lifestyle assessment: body composition analysis, dietary consultation, spiroergometry, musculoskeletal evaluation, and five movement therapy sessions—an incredible boost toward a healthier life.
The SET Open Day proved that Debrecen is not only a city of sports, but also of a healthy lifestyle.
“Our goal was to show that maintaining good health can be an enjoyable and shared experience,” said Prof. Dr. Sándor Szántó. The enthusiasm of the visitors, the full-house programs, and the much positive feedback all indicate that SET’s mission—to promote a conscious, active, and healthy life—is on the right track. The Sports Diagnostic, Lifestyle, and Therapy Center is not just a place but an approach: here prevention, science, and movement go hand in hand. Anyone who was there at the open day knows, and anyone who missed it can find out and personally experience what it’s like when the health of the future is already available in the present on October 18, 2025, between 12:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
