From Armin van Buuren to Kispál’s Return: Campus Festival 2026 Unites Global and Hungarian Legends
Held between 22 and 26 July 2026, Campus Festival will once again transform Debrecen into one of Hungary’s most vibrant summer cultural hubs. Over the past fifteen years, the festival has steadily grown from a regional youth event into a safe, family‑friendly celebration that welcomes visitors of all ages with its blend of music, culture, gastronomy, and community programs.
A major highlight of the 2026 edition is the long‑awaited return of Kispál és a Borz, one of Hungary’s most influential alternative bands. As announced on the festival’s official Facebook page, the group will perform in Debrecen for the first time since 2010, giving an exclusive festival concert on 23 July at 10:45 PM on the Second Main Stage. Their comeback marks a significant moment for long‑time fans and adds a nostalgic, historic layer to this year’s lineup.
The 2026 program also brings internationally acclaimed stars to Debrecen. Armin van Buuren, one of the world’s most celebrated DJs and a defining figure of global electronic music, will headline with a large‑scale show expected to draw massive crowds. The legendary German techno‑dance formation Scooter will also take the stage, continuing their long-standing popularity in Hungary with another high‑energy performance.
Alongside the international headliners, the organizers have already revealed the names of around one hundred Hungarian performers, representing a wide spectrum of genres—from mainstream pop and rock to underground electronic acts and emerging young talents. As in previous years, Campus Festival aims to showcase the diversity of the Hungarian music scene while offering a welcoming environment for families, students, and festival‑goers from across the country and beyond.
Tickets and passes are already available online.
