CATL Debrecen has a new Managing Director

Jason Chen has been replaced by Shen Feng as Managing Director of Contemporary Amperex Technology Hungary Ltd. (CATL Debrecen) with effect from the 17th of  March. Jason Chen joined CATL in 2018 and has managed the company’s European operations since 2020. Under his leadership, CATL has successfully established subsidiaries in Germany and Hungary, made significant developments and built strategic partnerships.

“His professional dedication and management approach have played a key role in the company’s development and his work has been widely recognised. Jason Chen will continue his career with CATL,” the company statement reads.

Shen Feng, the new Managing Director of CATL Debrecen, brings more than a decade of experience to the company. He joined CATL in February 2012 as a senior manager, and from March 2017, he has been supporting the company’s growth and innovation efforts in his role as Programme Management Director, and from 2019, as Managing Director for Automotive, responsible for overseas and European markets.

CATL Debrecen remains committed to its customers and partners, and continues its mission to create a cleaner and more sustainable future and to drive economic growth in the region.
